What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.
This week: DEVOTION
I look forward to reading everyone’s five sentences. Post your sentences on your blog, and link up your post below. If you don’t have a blog feel free to email me your sentences and I will post them here!!

Thanks! This is motivation for me!
Thank for the push into fiction; my first attempt I am looking forward to other prompts.

I’m sending you a copy of my latest FSF. Thanks for the motivation. I titled it
Knight in Armor?
I thought for this FSF I would turn to poetry. The prompt was devotion. The knight is my dad. And my mom is his maiden.
Her love was not a shining knight in armor,
But a farmer.
He would woo her
In ways peculiar.
This old charmer
could disarm her
With a humble smile.
While
Hidden behind his back he held
A small offering:
His love in a single flower.
Or the first ripe apple
That he picked from their garden.
